Just because you have a pickup truck you do not always have to use your truck bed to move stuff. By putting the DryDock in your 2 inch hitch receiver you now can utilize your roof to transport kayaks keeping the bed open for other cargo. Stabilizing straps and an anti-wobble hitch pin keeps the Y-frame design in place. BowStern straps (sold separately) are needed to ensure the boat stays in place too. .
